TheSeptic System Pump Out Programis a rebate program for residents who have theirseptic tanks pumped out by a licensed hauler every five years. As a best management practice, residents are recommended to inspect their septic system yearly, and to pump out their system every five years. Inspecting and pumping septic systems is important for efficient operation. A well-maintained septic system protects the groundwater and drinking water supply and is less likely to break down and require costly repair. County Executive Gardner announced the launch of the Septic Pump Out Rebate Program in 2018.
How to Apply
Rebates will be available for homeowners who pump-out their septic systems in the amount of $75 regardless of the amount billed for the pump-out service. Residents are encouraged to apply for the rebate on a first come first served basis due to funding availability.
Please note: You are only eligible for a rebate once every five years, per address.
Please be sure to review the instructions on the application form. If your application is missing required information, we will contact you. If the requested information is not received within 60 days, your application will not be eligible for the program.

Invoice from a licensed pumping company
Proof of payment:
Credit card receipt
Cancelled check (front and back),
Invoice signed by the septic hauler showing account balance of $0.00
