Tony Chmelik has resided in Frederick County for 42 years. A graduate of Linganore High School, he received a B.A. in mathematics and engineering from Belmont Abbey College. He is the owner of Chesky Construction, Inc., and a partner in Affordable Geothermal LLC.
Tony and his wife of 24 years, Rebecca, have been blessed with 11 children - seven boys and four girls. His goal is to keep Frederick County moving in a positive direction, to remain a place where his children also would choose to live and call home.
As a Knight of Columbus, Tony has volunteered hundreds of hours in service to the community. In 2010 and 2011, he used his experience as a contractor to assist his church with disaster relief and other mission work in Haiti.
