Landscaping Enhancement
The Frederick County Division of
Parks and Recreation has recently received another generous donation of landscape materials from Jerry Faulring, owner of Waverly Farm, of 75 plants and trees to enhance the landscaping of Frederick County Government parks and facilities.
This is not the first time Frederick County Parks and Recreation has received a generous donation from Mr. Faulring. In the spring and in the fall of 2010 Mr. Faulring donated several trees and shrubs, which were planted throughout the Counties parks and facilities helping to beautify them.
The Frederick County Parks crews have installed the recent donation of trees and shrubs at numerous park locations and County facility sites. These sites include Ballenger Creek, Middletown and Utica Parks, as well as at the Thurmont and Walkersville Libraries, and the Courthouse.
