The Frederick County Department of Solid Waste Management operates the Reichs Ford Road Sanitary Landfill, which is accessible to businesses and residents for the disposal of waste generated in Frederick County only.

   - Proof of residency in Frederick County is required such as a driver's license, vehicle registration, or utility bill.
   - All customers without an existing account must pay for all transactions at time of service.
   - Acceptable forms of payment are personal/business checks, money order, cashiers check or cash.
   - Credit/Debit cards are NOT accepted.

Commercial Disposal Rates
   - Municipal Solid Waste - $76 per ton
   - Construction & Demolition Waste - $85 per ton
   - Tires: $160.00 per ton (more than 5 tires per year requires a MD Dept. of the Environment Scrap Tire Haulers License)   
   - Mattresses and Box Springs  - $28.00 each, commercial rate 

Residential Disposal Rates
   - Household Trash/Municipal Solid Waste -  $3.80 per 100 pounds / $76 per ton
   - Construction & Demolition Waste - $4.25 per 100 pounds / $85 per ton 
   - Tires 33” or less – up to 5 per year at $3.80 per 100 pounds; tires over 33” will be charge at the $160.00 per ton rate.
   - Mattresses and Box Springs – up to 3 of each per year charged at $3.80 per 100 pounds
