Traffic Control Devices
Roadside signs, traffic signals, and pavement markings are all traffic control devices that serve to regulate traffic and provide information to road users.
The Department of Highways and Transportation is responsible for the installation and maintenance of signs, signals, and markings on County roads.
Repairs and Maintenance
Please report any missing or damaged signs, signals, or markings on County roads to the Department of Highways and Transportation. Emergency traffic signal failures may be reported to emergency dispatching at any time.
Please contact the local municipality or the State Highway Administration for devices that are not on County roads. Please note that the State has jurisdiction at State-County intersections.
