Identify what data exists to help describe the access to care barriers in Frederick County.
Identify what data is needed.
Assist the Frederick County Health Department in the implementation and future updates of the Community Health Profile project.
Outcomes
The Health Department was awarded a contract, funded by the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners, to develop a Community Health Profile of existing data and to address gaps in data through the administration of a survey.
In 2007 the
Frederick County Community Health Assessment
was published and yields information concerning particular health concerns and barriers.
The committee will develop recommendations for future updates of the data.
Meeting Date, Time and Location
This Committee is on hold as its original goal has been met. When the need arises to update the health assessment this committee will re-convene.
