Frederick County, in cooperation with the Maryland Department of the Environment, as well as local municipalities and businesses, offers several motor oil recycling locations for County residents to dispose of their motor oil in an environmentally safe manner. There is a limit of 15 gallons per resident per trip. Please reference the chart below to find the location closest to you.
There are also several locations listed that are not affiliated with Frederick County. These locations are private businesses that have indicated they offer motor oil recycling to the general public. This listing is provided solely as a convenience and is in no way intended to be an endorsement by the County nor a complete listing of all area private businesses which provide this service. If you choose to use one of these locations, we strongly recommend contacting the business to verify the information.
