About Youth Services
Through a collaborative partnership with Frederick County Workforce Services, Family Partnership provides youth development services to youth between the ages of 14-21 who are facing a barrier or barriers to completing a high school education and/ or engaging in gainful employment.
Education Services
- FLEX high school classes (an alternative secondary school through Adult Education).
- Tutoring, study skills and high school completion, to include drop out prevention.
Employment Services
- Occupational skills training.
- Paid and unpaid work experiences, including internships and job shadowing.
- Summer employment opportunities directly linked to academic and occupational learning.
Supportive Services
- Adult mentoring.
- Child care and transportation.
- Comprehensive guidance and counseling.
- Follow up services.
- Leadership development opportunities, which may include community service and peer-centered activities.
