Programs
Available Programs
A variety of programs are offered with the assistance of volunteers and community agencies:
- Library services are provided through an agreement with the Frederick County Public Library
- Substance Abuse Treatment and Education is provided through an agreement with the Frederick County Health Department
- Trauma treatment is provided through the local Mental Health Management Agency
- GED classes are offered through an agreement with the Frederick County Adult Education office
- We have a volunteer, on call, Chaplain that assists the inmates with many issues. We offer non-denominational programs as well as Muslim services, and have recently added a program for Hispanic inmates
- Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are provided by community volunteers
- Other:Classification Staff, Medical Staff, Contractual Staff, Food Service Staff, and Mental Health Staff also offer a variety of groups including parenting, anger management, life skills, and more
