1. I just moved to Frederick County. How can I register to vote?

2. I just received my voter notification card. Where do I go to vote?

The front of the card gives you your Congressional District and District and Precinct in the upper left corner, e.g., CONG-06, Dist/Prec 02015; your Legislative District in the middle left, e.g. LEG-03A, and the upper right corner of the card gives your polling place and street address, including any municipal election polling place.

3. How do I change my name, address or party affiliation on my voter registration?

4. When is the last day I can register to vote?

The registration deadline is 21 days before any primary or general election. The deadline for the April 3, 2012 Presidential Primary Election is March 13, 2012.

5. I would like to be an Election Judge; whom do I contact?

6. What are the times the polling location is open?

All polling locations are open continuously from 7 A.M. to 8 P.M. on the date of the election.

7. I am not sure if I will be in town the date of an election; can I still vote?

If you know you cannot vote in person at your designated polling place on the day of an election, you can come to the Board of Elections, or you can download the absentee ballot application, complete the application, and then mail it or fax it to our office.
